Kiddies did you hear the disturbing news. I couldn't believe it!
I was so horrified to hear Beyonce being mauled by several errant house cats on the TODAY show. It was blood curdling..unspeakable carnage and as it turns out, she was singing. People what happened...I thought Beyonce could sing. Didn't you? Granted anyone can have a bad day but unless she was fighting off a horde of zombies or her oh so fly weave was on fire....she's got some explaining to do. Which leads me to my question of the day: Can Beyonce Sing? Or is she afflicted with the same disease that mutilated Ashley Simpson's career and so many before her.
I long for the days when having an amazing voice was more important than how you could be packaged and marketed. I know that 'low-fat' is in people but that should only apply to food not entertainers. And if the only time you can entertain is in the warm, safe, computerized cocoon of a recording studio then it's time to re-examine why we should spend our money on such 'artists'. I think I am going to, go and listen to Mariah Carey (pre-breakdown), Whitney Houston (pre-crack...sorry, crack is whack...pre-Bobby Brown), Boyz to Men...and reminisce on the days when being a star...an entertainer meant something and was much more than just a hot video with big make up and bigger butts.

Celebrity Blogger - Perez Hilton
Ok Kiddies...I took a bit of a break and now I am ready to throw my oh so fabulous hat back into the ring.
Today, I have to ask the immortal question: How did Perez Hilton, henceforth, Percy, become a judge for the Miss America pageant. I mean really WHO is Percy. If you ride down Santa Monica Blvd and step into any Beverly Hills restroom you can find a Percy Hilton. So, why is he, all of gay men, judging a Miss America Pageant. If they wanted a Gay representative...why not Rupert Evertt. Rupert is class personified and yummy to look at...for men and women! Really, Percy should stay behind his laptop. What makes this worse is Percy used his evil 'celebrity' powers to rob Miss California, of the Miss America title. I did NOT agree with Miss Cali's point of view on the Gay marriage question. That being said she should not have been punished for honesty and giving her personal opinion! Then I was further dismayed by the baseball question asked of Miss NC. I mean did anyone else feel this was a crock of horse manure. Miss Cali should have won because she stood up for her personal beliefs and did so in a manner that was not threatening or insulting...isn't that what AMERICA is supposed to stand for.... YOU be the judge because I wouldn't ask PERCY to judge anything else, well maybe MR. Drag Queen American pageant.
